Hannah Harstvedt from Mrs. Paulus's class chose to educate not only her class but the entire school on the dangers of drinking and driving as well as wreckless driving in general.  Firefighters and EMTs showed up to reinact a car crash and demonstrate the lengths they go to to save a life.

Mr. Osborn's classes held a Lift-A-Thon to raise money for Special Olympics.  The boys' efforts not only raised awareness but $682 which they donated to Special Olympics.

Mrs. Schirer's classes spent some time with the residents of McKinley Manor.  They interviewed the residents and learned many valuable things about the elderly, interviewing, their community history, and themselves as well.

Mrs. Adams' Fitness for Life class organized and led a fitness day at Soo Township Elementary School.  Stations were set up around the gym promoting healthy eating and fun, easy physical activity.
