Sault Area School provide a variety of Special Education programs for students identified as having a disability defined by the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA).
A student can access Special Education services through the proper evaluation and placement procedures.  Parent involvement in this procedure is required.  More important, the school wants the parent to be an active participant.  To inquire about the procedures or programs, a parent should contact the building principal.
