I hold certification in Business Education, Vocational Business Services and Business Services and Technology. I am a graduate of Sault Area High School and Career Center and hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from Northern Michigan University. I have completed my Masters in Administration in Career-Technical Education at Ferris State University.

Before beginning as the Director of the Sault Area Career Center I worked as the Work-Based Learning Coordinator for the Career Center, as well as taught Computer Applications, Job Sense and Consumer Education. I also worked at Malcolm High School teaching pre-employment and Consumer Ed. In addition, I taught 6th grade Computers at the Sault Area Middle School and computers at St. Mary’s Catholic School. 

Prior to returning to Sault Ste. Marie, I worked for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Santa Barbara, California as the Marketing Coordinator. 

My husband and I returned to Sault Ste. Marie to raise our children Cole and Emma. I believe the quality staff at the High School and Career Center is more than ready to meet the challenges of the ever-changing educational climate. I am honored to be a part of Sault Area High School and Career Center and look forward to my thirteenth year as Director of Sault Area Career Center. and 22nd with the district.   If I can be of assistance at any time, please do not hesitate to contact me.
