Mrs. Loretta VerHaagh teaches 5th grade at Washington School. Mrs. VerHaagh started working in the Sault schools in 1991. She has taught at Bruce Township, Sault Middle School, Sault High School, and Washington School. Mrs. Laurie Robbins and I will be team teaching the 5th grade this year. I will be teaching all of the Math and Science. Mrs. Robbins will be teaching Language Arts and Social Studies.
Through the use of the textbooks, inquiry labs, demonstrations, library, videos, guest speakers, and the Internet, the students will be provided with the tools to understand and explore the state/district standards.
