Automotive Technology

This course will cover all 8 areas of the Vehicle Maintenance and Light Repair curriculum and is certified by the ASE Education Foundation over a 2 year program.

 This course develops automotive knowledge and skills in performing scheduled automotive maintenance, servicing and basic testing of brakes, electrical systems, drivetrain, engine, HVAC, and steering & suspension systems, emphasizing hands-on experience.   As a part of the ASE Education Foundation accreditation, topics are aligned to the Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR) certification requirements and students will have the opportunity to take the ASE Education Foundation MLR exam to become Nationally Certified.
