I received my Bachelors degree in education in 1975 from Central Michigan University. I substitute taught in the Houghton /Hancock area and taught at the Copper Country Learning Center for 5 years before moving to the state of Maine. while there I taught preschool and kindergarten at a nondenominational christian schoolin Bangor. I also taught at the Bangor Adult Learning Center. After 5 years my family and I returned to Michigan. I taught a preschool program in Paradise for two years and then moved to Sault Ste. Marie. While my children were young I substitute taught in all the Sault Ste. Marie Area Schools. I then went back to school to renew my certificate at Lake State. I was hired by Sault Area Schools in 2002 as a special education teacher and taught at the Middle School and Soo Township School. During that time I earned a Masters degree in Learning Disabilities from Northern Michigan University. I have been at Lincoln School since fall 2014.
Interests and Likes
My husband and I enjoy hiking and traveling. We raise Scotch Highland cattle and Yak.
I am excited to be here at Lincoln.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year in 3rd Grade!
