• Dear Second Grade Parents/Students,

I hope that you enjoyed your summer!!  Now it is time to get back to work and learn more exciting new things.

    Let me introduce myself:

My name is Mrs. Weber and this is my 9th teaching Second Grade and 13th year teaching at Sault Area Public Schools.  It has always been my dream to become a Second Grade teacher and I am thankful for the opportunity to be teaching your child!

I have been married to my husband for 11 years.  I am the mother of two girls, an 8 year old and a 6 year old.  I enjoy everything that has to do with the outdoors as well as spending time with my family and friends.

I am looking forward to meeting and learning more about you and your family this year!

****If you are sending your child’s lunch from home please send it daily labeled with his/her name.

*****A healthy snack DAILY (your child will need one snack per day: small bag of popcorn, a small apple, crackers with cheese, yogurt, raisins, a small bottle of water, etc.) Please no sweet treats for snack!

Please do not allow your children to bring their own toys to school.  They will not be allowed at school. They tend to get lost or damaged.

There will be times during the year that your child will be asked to bring in money. Please send any money in an envelope with your child's name, teacher's name, and the amount and purpose for the money. Correct change is always appreciated.

Have your child wear appropriate clothing for the different types of weather and make sure all clothing is labeled. We try to get outside every day that the weather permits (outside recess up to -10 degrees)

Our school day is from 9:00(Bell Rings) - 4:00(Dismissal).

I look forward to an exciting and productive year with your child. If you have any questions, please give me a call or send an email.  My email is jweber@eupschools.org  Thank you for your interest and help.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Weber
