    Drafting & Design Technology

    Drafting courses are designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of drafing and the commands and functions of Computer Aided Drafting and Manufacturing.  Architectural students learn how to design, draw, build and/or manufacture a building - a unique project. 

     

     Students will demonstrate knowledge and skills in:

    • Blueprint reading
    • Sketching and shape description
    • Computer-aided application
    • Architectural applications
    • Architectural model buiding
    • Professional presentations
    • Teamwork and time management
    • Mechanical design
    • Manufacturing processes
    • Precsion measurement
    • Dimensioning techniques
