  • Welcome to Fourth Grade! 

    We are going to have a wonderful year!  I am excited to begin our adventure in learning.  Here is a list of supplies you will need to be a successful student:

    • Curiosity
    • Willingness to Work Hard and Do Your Best
    • Good Manners
    • Respect for Yourself and Others

    The characteristics and ideas listed above are the keys to your success in fourth grade.

    The school system will provide all the learning materials required for fourth grade, but you may want to bring the following supplies for your personal use:

          • Pencils
          • Erasers
          • Colored Pencils
          • Crayons
          • Small multi-colored pack of Sharpie markers
          • Dry erase markers (for you to use on your dry erase board).  Please bring in one or two at a time so they will last the entire year.
          • Pencil box or bag
          • Folder with pockets (Home Folder)
          • Lined paper
          • Scissors
          • Glue
          • A box of tissues to share
          • Container of disinfecting wipes to use for periodic desk cleaning
          • Book bag or backpack
          • Gym shoes
          • a comfortable pair of headphones 

    You may want to bring snacks to school daily.  There will be an opportunity to have a snack (a healthy snack such as a piece of fruit or a granola bar) each morning and afternoon.  These snacks are completely optional.

    On the first day of school I will give you a copy of the Getting to Know You Survey that follows this page.  Please fill it out with your parents and return it to school as soon as possible.  ☺ The Getting to Know You Survey is my way of getting to know you quickly☺.

     

    I will look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 for the first day of our learning adventure.
