• Things I need to know for the first day of 2nd Grade!

      1)  Pack a healthy snack and a clean water bottle each day. On half days, students can eat lunch/snack at school if they choose.

      2) Specials- We have P.E.  Wednesday and Friday each week. Appropriate shoes are requested for gym.

      3)  Where does my child go in the morning and at the bell?  You will drop your child off along the fenced drop-off areas.  If it is raining or they eat breakfast, they come in the BLUE door and go to the gym.  Supervisors will be on the playground if they arrive before the bell.  I will meet the children outside at the GREEN door off the playground when the bell rings at 9:00 am. 


    • 4)  How is your child getting home from school?  Please re-register for transportation this year (on Lincoln’s webpage). I will get them to their bus line or to the playground if you are picking your child up. Please discuss the plan at home. Your child will meet you outside at the bell. I will walk students to the playground for the first week until your child sees your car. Do not drop students off at the front of the school. We use the back doors at Lincoln School.  
       
      ***Alert the school office, and myself as your child's teacher of any medical and parental custody information.
      ***  Be watchful of important paperwork that may need to be signed and returned in the first week of school (yellow home folder).

      *** Be sure your child brings his/her yellow home folder back to school daily (it will go home the first day).
