MiMTSS essential components: Team-based leadership; Tiered delivery system; Selection and implementation of instruction, interventions, and supports; Comprehensive screening and assessment system; Continuous data-based decision making The Multi-tiered System of Support (MTSS) is a proactive and preventative framework that integrates data and instruction to maximize student achievement and support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs from a strength-based perspective. Funds for MTSS are braided between Federal Title IA, Title IV, and Title VI, and State Programs 31a, 31aa, 31n, 35a, and others.
