Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Ashley Kroeger

My name is Ashley Kroeger and I am so excited to be joining the staff at Malcolm High School this year. I graduated from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania in 2010 with a degree in special education K-12 and general education K-8. This will be my 13th year of teaching but my first year teaching in Michigan. I have previously taught special education in Montana and California as well as general education in Arizona.

My family moved here at the end of the summer from Montana where we lived for almost 7 years. We are really enjoying all that Sault Sainte Marie has to offer, having moved from a small town of 1,700 people. I have three wonderful sons who are my whole world; Atlas (9), Payne (7), and Case (5). My husband and I stay pretty busy taking the kids to baseball, wrestling, and all the other activities they are involved in. In my spare time I enjoy baking, traveling, and being with my family.

My goal is to give each student in my classroom the opportunity to reach their full potential. I believe that every student is capable of doing great things when given the opportunity and I strive to help ALL students take advantage of those opportunities and achieve their post-secondary goals. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with students and staff at Malcolm and look forward to having a great school year!
