Programs

Sault Early Learning Center offers tuition-based programs for infants through five years old.     

 

Three and four-year-old classroom: 

  • Open 220 days per year
  • Monday - Friday
  • Hours of operation: 7:30am - 5:15pm
  • Offers full-time enrollment (30-50 hours per week)
  • Offering flexible enrollment options with a year-round, school year and summer-only program.   

Infant and Toddler classroom:

  • 6 weeks - 36 months
  • Open 220 days per year
  • Monday - Friday
  • Hours of operation: 7:30am - 5:15pm
  • Offers full-time enrollment (30-50 hours per week)
  • Offering flexible enrollment options with a year-round, school year and summer-only program.   

 

Federal and State-funded Programs:

Head Start services are available at no cost to income-eligible families. Head Start preschool services work with families through services that support early learning and development, health, and family well-being. Head Start staff actively engage parents, recognizing family participation throughout the program as key to strong child outcomes.

  • Children ages 3 to 5 years old
  • This program operates Monday – Thursday.
  • Open 7 hours and 15 minutes per day
  • Open September through Early June. 
  • This program is federally funded.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)

  • Four-Year-Old Children that meet eligibility criteria 
  • This program operates Monday -Friday.
  • Open 7 hours per day
  • Open from September to Early June.
  • Michigan's state-funded preschool Program

Strong Beginnings

  • Three-Year-Old Children that meet eligibility criteria
  • This program operates Monday-Thursday.
  • Open 7 hours per day.
  • The program is state-funded.
