Here's a little info about me:

 

 Hometown: Born and raised in South Detroit.

 

 Hometown (take 2): I have now lived in this beautiful area for over half of my life and consider this home.

 

Education: I graduated from Cass Technical High School with a Science and Arts focus.

In 2009, I followed my heart back to college and began the journey toward my dream: Teaching!

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from  Lake Superior State University in 2014.

I received my Bachelors of Science in Physical Science.

I am certified to teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Physical Science

 

 

Family: I have been married to my wonderful husband, Ben, for 25 years.

We have one beautiful child, El, who is now a teenager.

 

Hobbies: I am a crafty nerd.

I like things like Star Wars, Doctor Who, and the Marvel Universe.

I love spending time with my family!

In warmer weather, we love to go camping.

In the winter, we are more likely found snuggled up on the couch together watching a movie.

 When I have a little spare time (ha!), I enjoy almost any kind of crafting:

sewing, cross-stitch, knitting, loom knitting, jewelry design, and much more!
