Classroom Expectations
All students are to follow the 4B's (Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Ready to Learn) while in the classroom. Students are expected to turn their work in on the due date, either on Google Classroom (when applicable) or in the turn-in basket in the back of the classroom. As per Sault Area Public Schools policies, Personal Electronic Devices will not be permitted in the classroom. Further procedures and expectations will be in the syllabus that will be sent home and posted in Google Classroom.

8th Grade US History & Geography-

In 8th grade United States history, you will study the history of the U.S. from Colonial America to the Reconstruction Era. In this course, you will learn about the creation of our nation. The focus of this course is to help students become engaged, knowledgeable, and effective citizens.

Classwork – 50%
Assessments (Tests/Quizzes/Projects) – 50%
9th Grade US History-
In 9th grade United States history, you will study the history of the United States from the Reconstruction Era to the Modern Day. In this course, you will learn how the past has shaped how our nation operates today. The focus of this course is to help students become engaged, knowledgeable, and effective citizens.
Final grade based on the average of scores for the following:
Classwork - 80%
Quarterly Tests - 20%
