       Hello, my name is Drew Paquin and I am the 7th Grade Social Studies teacher for Sault Area Middle School.  I received my education at Lake Superior State University(LSSU) and graduated in 2009.  During my time at LSSU, I received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education with a major in Social Studies and a minor in History.   After receiving my degree from LSSU, I was hired as the Native American Advisor for Cedarville Schools and worked there until I was hired here at SAMS during the 2012-13 school year.  While at SAMS, I was the Native American Advisor for 6 years and SLC/Online teacher for 4 years. This is my 4th year teaching 7th grade Social Studies here at SAMS.    

      I grew up in the Cedarville area during my younger years, and I now live in Sault, Michigan with my 9-year-old son.  I enjoy many hobbies, such as playing basketball, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
