About Me
Hello! My name is June TenEyck, and I’m excited to be starting my first year as a Resource Room teacher here at Sault Area Middle School. I’ve spent the past six years working with middle and high school-aged youth in a variety of educational settings. Before returning to Michigan, I worked as an outdoor educator for grades 5–8 and a high school counselor at an outdoor school in Oregon.
As a proud Blue Devil alum and Sault Ste. Marie native, it’s an honor to now be teaching in the same community where I grew up. Many students already know me from around the school, and I’m thrilled to continue building those relationships in this new role.
Outside of school, I enjoy crafting, foraging, reading, spending time with my family, and teaching art classes at the local art gallery. I’m also currently pursuing my master’s degree in Learning Disabilities at Northern Michigan University.
