I.   CALL TO ORDER

B.   OATH OF OFFICE BY NEWLY ELECTED BOARD MEMBERS
 
Christine M. Curtis and Jay D. Wilson were elected to the Board of Education.  President Daniel Smith will administer the Oath of Office.
 
"I do solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of this State, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of Member of the Board of Education of the Sault Ste. Marie Area Public Schools, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, according to the best of my ability."
 
C.   ELECTION OF OFFICERS
 
Officers to be elected are President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

The Board President needs to designate a representative to the Michigan Association of School Boards Legislative Relations Network.

C.   GIFTS AND DONATIONS
 
1.     St. Stephen's Episcopal Church donated $500 to the Middle School Food Backpack
   Program.
 
2.     Don and Chris McLean donated $125 to the Kidz Klozit.
 
3.     Great Lakes Allergy & Asthma Center donated $25 to sponsor books at Sault High.
 
Recommendation:  That the Board of Education accept the above donations with thanks and appreciation.
