Sault Area High School and Career Center Assistant Principal Named 

(For immediate release: Sault Area Public Schools, August 10, 2022) 

Sault Area Public Schools is pleased to announce that Scott Menard has been selected as the new Assistant Principal of Sault Area High School and Career Center. 

Mr. Menard is currently a teacher and coach at Sault Area High School. He replaces Mrs. Jeanine Sherman, who recently took over as principal.

Principal Sherman commented, "Mr. Menard brings over twenty-five years of teaching experience in Sault Ste. Marie. His dedication to public education, students, and the greater Sault community made him standout as a hardworking and compassionate leader. Mr. Menard stands for creating a safe school environment based on a culture of respect and responsibility.  As assistant principal, Mr. Menard will be responsible for attendance, student behavior, and modeling high quality instruction.”

Superintendent Kronemeyer stated, “the administrative team at Sault High is passionate, dedicated, and caring about the students and staff they serve. Without hesitation, I am confident the leadership team will ensure Sault Area High School and Career Center remains a ‘Great Place to Learn’.”
