Mrs. Sue Wagner

I am excited about teaching 5th grade science this year!

I earned a Masters of Teaching Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Liberty University and have taught here at SAMS as a special education teacher for the past 9 years. Prior to deciding to pursue a career in teaching, I earned a BS in Business Administration with minors in Accounting and Finance and Marketing and worked as the Executive Director of the Chippewa County Community Foundation for 10 years.  Prior to that, I earned a certificate in Veterinary Technology from Michigan State University and worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 11 years.  I LOVE to learn new things!

I am married to Darrell who is retired from 32 years of service with the US Army/Michigan National Guard and 24 years as a Corrections Officer with the State of Michigan. He currently farms full-time. We have two beautiful daughters and a son-in-law. McKenzy is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and is currently studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine, while her husband, Zach Sebastian,  owns Sebastian Heavy Equipment. Liberty is a Junior at Lake Superior State University studying everything business! We live on a farm with 4 riding horses, 3 miniature horses, 61 head of show cattle/calves, 5 dogs, 4 cats, and a tortoise!  When I am not busy teaching or working on the farm, I love to read and go camping and boating with my family!
