Dear First Grader,

Welcome back to school and to first grade!  I sure hope that you had a wonderful summer!  My name is Mrs. Pace.  I will be your teacher this year.  I am so excited to have you in our class!  We are going to have a fabulous year discovering and learning new things.  

Although you are not required to bring your own supplies to school, if you choose to, my supply list is on this website.

We will be having snack each day, mid morning.  Please don’t forget to bring a healthy snack and a bottle of water on the first day of school!  Our lunch is not until 1:00 each day, so you will most likely be wanting a snack.

Please ensure that you have a water bottle with your name on it.

When the bell rings at 9:00 and school is ready to begin, I will meet you outside on the playground by the basketball court. You will line up with our class; don't worry, I will be out there to show you where to line up.  That is where I will pick you up each morning to bring you inside to start our day of learning!

I am really looking forward to our exciting year together!  I hope you are as excited as I am for our year to begin.  I’ll see you Tuesday, September 6th for our first day of school!
