120. I. CALL TO ORDER
Vice President Galer called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Sault Area Middle School, 684 Marquette Avenue.
121. A. ROLL CALL OF BOARD
Board Members Present: Melissa S. Pingatore, Christine M. Curtis, Caitlin L. Galer, Daniel L. Smith
Absent: None
122. B. ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
The agenda was approved by unanimous consent.
123. II. COMMUNICATIONS AND BOARD REPORTS
A. Audience Participation
There was none.
III. BOARD ACTIONS
124. A. Interview and Appoint Board Members
Vice-President Galer welcomed the candidates, explained the process and timing of the interview, and noted selected members would by statute serve on the Board until December 31, 2024.
Superintendent Scott-Kronemeyer presented the Board’s questions to each candidate for the recently vacated seats of Ray DeWitt and Jay Wilson.
Upon inquiry, the Board highlighted one item they enjoyed serving on the Board.
The Board ranked the candidates based on their response to the questions and presented their recommendations to Board Secretary Curtis.
It was Moved by Member Curtis, and supported by Member Pingatore, that based on the tally of the Board’s rankings, Ken Dunton and Michelle Ribant, be appointed to the Board of Education.

Absent: None
Motion Carried.
125. IV. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board at 6:19 p.m., it was moved by Member Curtis, supported by Member Pingatore, that the meeting be adjourned.
