Hi! I'm Mrs. Odbert. I am the Native American Advisor for the Sault Area Middle School. I am an Ojibwe woman. I am a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.
I am a graduate of Sault Area High School. After high school I went on to graduate from Bay Mills Community College.  I have been the Native American Advisor at SAMS since November of 2019.  As the Native American Advisor my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, personal, and social development of our Native American students, as well as, share cultural opportunities with our students and school. I look forward to offering support to our students, their families, and our community.
