My name is Sydnie Dumas. I was born and raised here in the Sault, and I am a proud Blue Devil Alum. 

Growing up, I attended JKL from Kindergarten to 8th grade. I graduated from Sault Area High School and Career Center in 2018. I took mostly honors courses and I was lucky enough to have three years of Business Administration and one year of Accounting. I headed down south and attended Central Michigan University, where I received a BS in Secondary Education. My focuses are English Language Arts and History. I completed my student teaching at Beal City High School, where I taught 10th and 12th grade ELA and 8th grade History. 

Some of my hobbies include reading and writing. I have a children's book published entitled, Bobby and the Bullies. I also love to dance. I spent 15 years training at the Academy of Performing Arts, where I was honored to be a student dance teacher for 7 years. Some other fun things I like to do are photography and cooking.
