  • SENIORS ENROLLED IN THE WELDING PROGRAM....there is a $1000 scholarship application available for those students who are considering attending Ferris State University to pursue a degree in welding technology or welding engineering.  Please see Mr. Rambo or the Career Center Office for an application.

  • PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES:  Will be held on February 21st from 12:30-3:00 and 5:00-7:00 in the high school

  • SENIORS:  If you are attending Alpena Community College next year, there are several scholarships available.  The deadline is March 11.  The application can be obtained at the Career Center Office or with one of you Career Center teachers.  A variety of scholarships are available in multiple career fields.

  • WILLIAM D HOBBS MEMORIAL FUND SCHOLARSHIP:  is now available for application.  The scholarship is a $1000 scholarship for a student from the EUP that is awarded by the Paradise Area Community Foundation.  The deadline is April 1.  It is awarded to a student seeking post secondary school training in a vocation or trade.  Applications available in the Career Center Office.

  • SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY:  Any Senior with a 3.0 or higher GPA is eligible to apply for the Sault Education Association's scholarship. This year, two $750 scholarships will be available. To apply, go to Mrs. Suggitt's school website to access the application. The deadline is February 28. Any questions, see Mrs. Suggitt.

  • DRIVER'S ED:  The final Segment I class of the school year has been filled.  There are 3 remaining Segment II classes:  March 18, 19, 20; April 15, 16, 17 and May 13, 14, 15.  Students must have their white permit from the Secretary of State for 90 plus days and have completed 30 hours of driving (2 at night) in order to attend Segment II.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Gregory.

  • HOMEWORK REQUESTS:  Students who have been out for two or more days can request homework by emailing their teachers directly.  The request should be made between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. so staff have an opportunity to prepare the work on their planning time.  Students who are out for only 1 day can make the work up when they return.   Please cc Mrs. Gregory so she is aware of the request for collection purposes.

  • LUNCH DELIVERY:  If you are delivering lunch to your student, please hand it directly to them at the time of their lunch through the lobby doors, not the secure entrance. Students are not allowed to run out to the car to get the delivery nor will they be allowed out of class to pick up food. Parents are the only people allowed to hand deliver food to a student.  Delivery of food and beverages is not allowed at any other time of the day. There are 2 lunch periods this year:  A lunch is from 11:45 - 12:15 and lunch is from 12:40 - 1:10.
