• The Department of Labor stress that Child Labor Laws should be enforced. This means students should not be working during normal school hours. It also means that the number of hours a student can work are restricted during the school year.

Work Permits for students ages 14 - 17 will be available at the Sault High School Building in the vestibule or Career Center Office from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m WHEN SCHOOL IS IN SESSION

Once a student is hired, the student will complete Part 1, the employer will complete Part 2, and then the student will return the work permit to the Career Center for certification.

Where do I pick up a work permit during the summer?  When school is officially on summer break, you can pick up a work permit at the Sault Schools Administration Building, Mrs. Sirk.  Please contact (906) 635-3839, ext. 5000 or jsirk@eupschools.org for summer hours.
