    My Name is Carl McCready and I am beginning my twentieth  year at Sault Area High School and Career Center.  I graduated from Ferris State University in 2000, where I received my bachelors in education with a major in mathematics and a minor in chemistry.  I received a masters degree from Central Michigan University specializing in Educational Technology and my Education Specialist from Central Michigan University in K-12 administration.
    During my teaching tenure at Sault Area High School I taught several classes in mathematics including Algebra I, Algebra II and Trig/PreCalc.  I was also the class advisor for the class of 2005, and currently act as the secretary of the District School Improvement Team.  I was honored to be named Michigan's Assistant Principal of the Year for 2013-14.
    Outside of school I enjoy hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and boating.  I have two sons, Alex who is a freshmen at Michigan State and Chase who is a freshmen at Sault High.  My wife Mindy and I are also very excited to have added a daughter, Brielle, to our family in April of 2014.
