Just a little about me...

I am a native of Ortonville, Michigan and a product of Ortonville-Brandon School District. Upon graduation from high school, I started community college and working full time to pay off my college expenses. After completing my MACRAO Stamp at Oakland Community College I decided to transfer to Grand Valley State University. I have now graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in secondary education and grouped social studies with a minor in physical education. In December of 2022 I will have completed my Master's Degree from GVSU in Curriculum and Instruction.

I have been a coach ever since I graduated from high school. Coaching 7 seasons of Varsity Track and Field and 12 seasons of Football at various levels.

I am a down-to-earth type of person. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. God has blessed me with a talent to lead and help others with their goals. I am a proud teacher, coach, and student and take things seriously. My joy is in helping others help themselves.

I believe in the quote, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” - Marianne Williamson

We should all help each other better ourselves, thus bettering our world.
